Add or Update Affiliations
Populating your affiliations is a great way to tell your open source contribution story to your current and future employers, and your project communities. It also ensures that your organization gets credit for open source project work that you do on their behalf, or that you can highlight your individual contributions to a project.
You should connect your GitHub and LinkedIn profiles to populate your affiliations, and ensure that your historical and future contributions all get correctly attributed to you. However, if for some reason your affiliations are not populated, you can add those manually.
What can you do?
You can manage all of your project affiliations through the Individual Dashboard.

2. On the My Profile dashboard, scroll down to the Technical Contributions section.
3. Under an open source project, navigate to the Affiliations section, and click
from top right corner of the Affiliations section.
4. If you want to affiliate yourself with an organization, select the Organization radio button, provide details such as organization name, start date and end date, and click Save & Close. Click the tick mark if you are currently working in the organization.
Note: If the organization name is not automatically populated in the predictive search list, click +Add CTA to add the organization.

5. If you want to affiliate yourself as an individual, select the Individual Contributor radio button, provide start date and end date, and click the tick mark next to the filed to save details.

Delete affiliation:
Click Remove next to an affiliation, and then Click Remove on the confirmation window to delete the affiliation.

You can only edit the start and end date for an affiliation, not other details.
Click Edit next to an affiliation, and then change the start and end date, and click Save & Close.

Add Organization
1. Click +Add if the organization name is not shown in the predictive search list.

2. On the Add Organization window, provide organization URL, organization name in the respective fields, start and end date, and click Save & Close.
