The Active Membership tab within the Membership section offers a comprehensive overview of the active memberships that your organization has availed of for various open-source projects. This table provides the following essential details related to the active membership:
Open-Source Project Name: The name of the open-source projects your organization has availed a membership. Click on the project name to navigate to the Membership page for more information.
Membership Tier: The type of membership that your organization has purchased, providing a clear understanding of the benefits and features included.
Renewal Date: Ensure timely renewal actions to maintain membership continuity by noting the renewal date. If you have an auto-renewal option selected for the membership renewal, it will show here.
Your Projects: When you click on the Your Projects column, a pop-up window will appear, providing a snapshot of your organization's involvement in the Foundation. This summary will display the total number of projects within the foundation, as well as the specific projects where your organization has participated through meeting attendance, event participation, code contributions, training and certification enrollments, or mailing list subscriptions.
Your Contacts: This field is a private, admin-only space where you can record any internal details about the organization or individual overseeing foundation involvement. For example, you might note which department pays membership dues or track specific responsibilities. This information is not connected to any other data in LFX—such as the designated billing contact—so it will not affect official records. Only an admin can edit this field.
Follow these steps to add Key contacts to your memberships:
On the Membership page, click Active tab.
Click on the name of the foundation for which you want to add key contacts. For example, when you click on the LF AI &Data, it opens a dedicated membership page.
On the Add Key Contact page, enter the email ID of the contact who you want to add as a key contact.
Click Add Contact button.
Follow these steps to see and download membership agreements:
Click on the name of the foundation for which you want to check the membership agreements.
On the Overview tab, you will see the Membership Agreements section. On this section, you can see the Membership statuses.
Click the download icon to download the membership agreements.
Click on the Program Manager name to send an email.
On the Overview tab, you can find the board and committee members details for that foundation from your organization.
Click on each icon to find relevant information about the project.
On the Overview > Key Contacts table, you will see the list of added key contacts. To add a key contact click icon. To edit the existing key contact, click icon.
