# Prerequisites

#### Access Requirements

* Public Access: No restrictions to view public virtual folders and document references.
* Private Access: Requires an active LFX account and membership in the relevant project, committee, or meeting.
* Administrative Access: Only users with admin permissions for a specific Linux Foundation project can create or edit that project’s virtual folders and document references.

#### Supported Roles/Users

* Project admins
* Contributors
* Collaborators
