The Exam Checklist guides candidates through the process of taking a certification exam.
Candidates must complete all 4 required items in the Getting Started section in order for the Schedule button to become active.
Select I agree to the LF Global Certification & Confidentiality Agreement. Use the provided links to review the Agreement, Exam rules and policies, and Zero tolerance policy
Confirm that your system and testing location meet the requirements to avoid termination of your exam.
Use the provided links to review the Operating System requirements and Testing Location requirements.
The Schedule button will become available within 30 minutes after completing all 4 items in the Getting Started section.
Clicking on Schedule will redirect you to our proctoring partner's site (PSI).
Once your exam is scheduled, your exam reservation time and date will be displayed in this section. Use the Add to Calendar option to set a reminder in a calendar of your choice.
This section provides essential tools and information to help you prepare for your certification exam.
Use the provided links to quickly access the Operating System requirements and Testing Location requirements.
Once you have scheduled a new reservation with PSI, you will be able to access the PSI Remote Testing Tutorial, which allows candidates to practice downloading/installing/navigating the Secure Browser and learn how to identify/deactivate/uninstall prohibited programs and processes. The tutorial takes about 30 minutes to complete and can be accessed up to 150 minutes before the scheduled start of a reservation. We encourage all candidates to complete the tutorial.
The Take Exam button will become available 30 minutes prior to the scheduled exam time. Clicking on Take Exam will redirect you to the proctoring partner's site, where you will launch the exam.
This is also your last opportunity to verify that your name matches the ID you will show to the proctor. If any changes are needed, enter those before clicking the Take Exam button.
Exams are graded within 24 hours from the time an exam is completed.
Depending on your exam's outcome, this section will display:
Achieved score and View Certificate option if your exam is marked Pass
Option to claim a retake, if one is available
Option to activate your next purchase, if one is available
Additional Time Accommodations can not be provided for SkillCred Exams
Candidates with disabilities (such as those covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act) can request test accommodations by completing the Test Accommodations Form, and submitting it for approval to trainingsupport.linuxfoundation.org.
The completed form must be submitted at least two (2) weeks before the candidate plans to take an exam.
