The Exam Checklist guides candidates through the process of taking a SkillCred exam.

Please Note: The Take Exam Button will become active, and you will be able to launch your SkillCred exam, after completing all 4 items in the Getting Started section of the checklist:

  • Agree to the Global Candidate Agreement

  • Identity Verification

  • Confirm that your system meets the requirements

  • Confirm that you have read and understood the Testing Location requirements

Getting Started

Candidates must complete all 4 required items in the Getting Started section in order for the Take Exam button to become active.

Global Candidate Agreement

Select I agree to the LF Global Certification & Confidentiality Agreement. Use the provided links to review the Agreement, Exam rules and policies, and Zero tolerance policy

Identity Verification

Enter your name exactly as it appears on the ID that you will present to the proctor, and click Confirm.

Operating System & Testing Location Requirements

Confirm that your system and testing location meet the requirements to avoid termination of your exam.

Use the provided links to review the Operating System requirements and Testing Location requirements.

This section provides essential tools and information to help you prepare for your certification exam.

Environment & Technical Instructions

Use the provided links to familiarize yourself with Exam Technical Instructions and navigating the Exam UI.

Take Exam

The Take Exam button will become active when all 4 items in the Getting Started section are completed.

This is also your last opportunity to verify that your verified name exactly matches the ID you have available to upload into the proctoring system. You need to make changes/update your verified name BEFORE clicking on the Take Exam button.

Results

Exams are graded within 24 hours from the time an exam is completed.

Depending on your exam's outcome, this section will display:

  • Achieved score and View Certificate option if your exam is marked Pass

  • Option to activate your next purchase, if one is available
